Alaska holds a special place in my heart as I went there every summer as a kid. Sitting around campfires and fishing underneath the midnight sun became the soundtrack of my summer as a child. Alaska is really about being in the moment, and that is why when I had the opportunity to go back, I knew it would be the perfect trip to embrace shooting film. It allowed me to slow down and really be in the moment, instead of just shooting everything and hoping for the best. I took only 3 rolls of film with me, so I really had to be selective. So here are my favorite shots from the experience.
